Here's How Trupanion is Different

If your pet becomes sick or injured we will pay for diagnostic tests, surgeries, and medications up to $20,000. This includes hereditary and congenital disorders.
We pay 90% of your cost without caps or restrictive fee guides (including the higher costs of emergency centers, specialty hospitals, and referral clinics).
On initial claims we approve and pay in less than 7 days. Of our most recent 10,000 repeat claims submitted, 9 out of 10 were processed and paid within 24 hours.
We never penalize responsible pet owners for having unlucky pets. This means your rates won’t increase and your coverage won’t decrease after submitting multiple claims.
Your premiums will only change periodically to reflect the inflationary cost of veterinary care. You can lower your pet’s premium by selecting a deductible that best matches your budget.
