Do you offer a multi-pet discount?
No, we do not offer multi-pet discounts. There is a specific reason for this.
While we understand that other pet insurance providers may offer a “bulk rate” for multiple pets, the truth is that this often results in members with solo pets having to make up the difference by paying higher costs. Likewise, multi-pet discounts can be low upfront, but prices can quickly skyrocket over time as pets get older and/or veterinary claims are filed.
At Trupanion, we want to be fair to all of our members (humans and pets alike!). That’s why we base our prices on market data instead of sales gimmicks. Rather than unnecessarily raising rates and offering various discounts, we strive to offer all customers the lowest-possible premiums across the board.
