Do you cover prescription pet foods?
Yes! Your Trupanion coverage can be used for prescription pet foods when they are specifically prescribed or recommended by your licensed veterinarian for the treatment of a covered condition.
Eligible pet foods will be covered for 50% of the cost, less your deductible. Coverage can be used for up to two months of normal feeding. Prescription pet food coverage is for both dogs and cats.
